Reading the Points Tables
Always begin with a team in the left most column. For each game find the name of the team you are checking in the left column, then reference the name of the opposition team in the top row. Where they intersect you will find the goals for, the goals against and the points for that game. Here is a key:

Another square within the table will contain the converse result. To check it, this time find the name of the opposition team in the left column, then reference the name of the team you are checking in the top row. Again, where they intersect you will find the goals for, the goals against and the points for that game. This time they will be from the perspective of the opposition team.
The abbreviations for the remaining columns are:
GF = goals for; GA = goals against; GD = goal difference; PTS = accrued points; POS = position in pool/division after all pool/division games have been played.
